Day 10 Photo Challenge
Day 10 Challenge: A Childhood Memory
When my sister and I were kids. Around 4th and 5th grade I believe; we loved
Jem and the Holograms. We watched the TV series had Jem tops and pretented like we could sing like her. Sometimes I sure miss those carefree days.
Three or four years ago Victoria was in a bit of a nostalgic mood and purchased a bunch of Jem items she found on ebay. She shipped me a box for my to keep as well. This isn't everything but a few of the great Jem collectibles I have to remind me of those fun childhood days with my sister.
Love Ya Victoria, wish we could pop back into the childhood days and enjoy them just a bit more.

Day 9 Photo Challenge
When I first begun this photo challenge and I looked over the list and planned out in my head what I would do for each days challenge; it was only but a second that I thought of Day 9.
I immediately assumed that on Day 9 I would post a picture of one or all of my children.
However as today comes to an end I realized that on this day I was reminded of how
much I love these two sweet little faces too.
I enjoy doing Daycare because I love kids. Children are God's perfect work of art and each one is a blessing; and I have been blessed to care for these two sweet little ones for a few months now and today I was reminded of just how much I care for them and how much I will miss hearing "Mith den den"
(I just learned that this is easier to say then to spell, hehe)
At the end of the day, the house is all quiet and I am left alone with my thoughts. I sit here with a smile on my face as I think about how God didn't just give me the most perfect blessings with my 5 children but he has also given me the opportunity to love and care for other blessings too.
I have learned that whether that time is for a month or for a year, it is a season in my life that I will always cherish and thank God for.
Jen Jen loves you Ava and Jackson!
Tell mommy to bring you over for frequent play dates with Breanna and Sarah. ;-)

Day 7 Photo Challenge
Day 7 Challenge: Fruit
Well I tried to be a little creative here; and I liked the picture until after showing it to my husband and asking him his opinion and told me of a 'cooler' idea but I didn't want to go with it since it wasn't my idea.;-)
I do still like my apple pic, I just need to work on thinking outside of the box a bit. Cody enjoyed eating the apple when I was done using it as a prop. ;-)

Day 6 Photo Challenge
Day 6 Challenge: From a Low Angle
After I dropped off my friends kids after school today and headed up with my kids I was at a stop sign and the thought hit me, this looks like a perfect 'from a low angle' sort of picture. Of course I didn't have my camera with me as I was just out picking up my children from school so I resorted to my cell phone picture taking for this one as I didn't really want to run home to get my camera and come back to this spot. lol

Day 5 Photo Challenge
Day 5 Photo Challenge: From a High Angle
I had a great idea for today's photo challenge but when it came time for my photo shoot of this little guy and his brother I failed to look at the notes I had written down and completely forgot my high angle idea.
This one is slightly from a high angle (Me standing on a chair and looking down)
but not the idea I had planned earlier in the day.
So much for all those great notes I wrote down earlier in the day in preparation for my photo shoot. Ah well, we still got several great shots and I had a great time with little Mason and his brother. Will share more pictures from their shoot soon. :-)

Day 4 Photo Challenge
Photo Challenge of the Day: Something Green
This is a shot of my husband's beloved (by him not me) fish tank. This was taken with no flash and minimal post processing to lighten the picture a tad.
I am looking forward to tomorrow's challenge (from a high angle) I have a photo shoot tomorrow and plan to capture the perfect picture for my challenge. ;-)

Day 3 Photo Challenge
Day 3 Challenge: Clouds
Today there was not many clouds in the sky. So to make the picture
a little more interesting I decided to print and cut out a heart then I had my oldest son hold it up and I shot towards the sun just enough to capture the sun rays that cast upon his hand and the heart. I enjoyed the challenge that this idea brought.
And to make the picture even better I added the following scripture
(pictured below)
Day 2 Photo Challenge
Day 2 of 30 day photo challenge.
Day 2 Challenge: What I wore today.
After a long day of cleaning and organizing, taking a pic of what I wore wasn't really what I wanted to do, but alas I relented and took one. I figured there was no need to show my face, that was yesterday's challenge. ;-)
So here you have it; today's lovely outfit. Jeans rolled up because they are too long, one of my husband's over-sized comfy shirts and my comfy crocs. I used the same lens filter as yesterdays picture thus the vignette effect but I shot it in color this time. ;-)

Day 1 Photo Challenge
Day 1 of my 30 Day Photo Challenge
Challenge 1. Self Portrait
I am not fond of pictures of myself and since I think everything looks better in black and white I decided to make my 1st self portrait in B&W. I do have a black and white challenge later too but that's okay. This is a straight out of the camera picture with no post processing picture. I used a special effect on my lens filter and changed my setting to Black and White and there you have it; My Self Portrait. ;-)
